Ten Tea'sSM Superfine Dragon Well consists of the finest quality Dragon Well Green tea available year round. TenTea's Superfine Dragon Well grade uses the most tender of leaves picked during very early spring. Great care is used during harvesting and processing so there are almost no broken or crushed leaves among the finished tea leaves. Once brewed, the Super Fine Dragon Well has a pronounced orchid-like smell with a soup of a light yellow-green color. When tasted, it begins as robust and full bodied, but turns into an aftertaste with lingering roasted undertones.
A steeping time of 1 to 2 minutes with about 70°C/160°F water is recommended, with an additional 15 seconds for each successive infusion. Use about 1 tablespoon (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 ml) of water. This tea may be infused 3 or more times. The use of a covered glass or ceramic cup is recommended for steeping in order to fully appreciate the tea leaves. Net weight is 4 ounces (113 g) and shipping weight 0.28 lb.
