Ten Tea'sSM Organic Golden Monkey Black Tea is grown in the Yunnan province in China, a region known for producing excellent black tea with golden buds. A 3rd party European agency has certified that this tea has been grown with organic farming methods, with no chemical pesticides used in cultivation. The brewed tea has a reddish brown hue with a sugary aroma with floral and roasted undertones. The taste is smooth with sweet undertones with a clean and refreshing aftertaste.
The water used to steep this tea should be at the boiling point, 212°F (100°C). Use about 2 teaspoons (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 milliliters) of water. A steeping time of about 3-5 minutes with more or less time is recommended depending on the desired concentration. Net tea weight 4 ounces and shipping weight 0.28 lb.
