 Designed and manufactured by the famous Lu Yu Art Institute in Taipei, Taiwan, the "Peach Glaze" tea set is available exclusively from TenRen. This tea set is comprised of six cups, six saucers, tea pot, tea pitcher, and tea boat with an embroidered cloth cushion. The teapot has an inner convex sieve which helps to prevent tea leaves from blocking the flow of the tea through the spout. The tea pitcher has a metal filter to catch loose tea particles. Difficult to produce, this tea set is made from white clay with a peach colored glaze on the outside and a clear glaze on the inside.
After usage, rinse with hot water and avoid using soap and other scented products that may be absorbed by the clay. More information on the proper usage of this set can be found at our Tea Library.
The teapot holds approximately 7 fluid oz. (210 mL). The tea pitcher holds approximately 8 fluid oz. (250 ml). The tea cups hold approximately 1.75 fluid oz (50 mL). Available in a gift box with cloth lining. Shipping dimensional weight is 14.00 lbs.
