 Ten Ren's Fluttering Dragonfly Teapot is made from purple clay and fired at a higher temperature for high quality and is ideal for serving semi-fermented teas such as Oolong, King's, Pouchong, and Ti Kuan Yin. With wide arcs in the design like those of a dragonfly, this teapot has a raised square on either side of it with a yellow dragonfly.
This teapot has an inner convex sieve which helps to prevent tea leaves from blocking the flow of the tea through the spout. Yixing tea pots such as this one have a special characteristic. With repeated usage, this pot will acquire its own unique flavor and increased luster and coloring that contributes to the enjoyment of tea. After usage, rinse with hot water and avoid using soap and other scented products that may be absorbed by the clay. This tea pot is about 5.5 inches (14 cm) in length, 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) in width, and 4.25 inches (10.5 cm) in height.
